International Chaplains of America Inc is called to promote and spread the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, responding to his eternal call to share the love, peace, faith, and hope for the Kingdom of God in the form of the common good and service, for the good of humanity.

Its fundamental purpose is to promote peace, harmony, unity and security among all people within the communities; to minister to the spiritual need of the community, to endeavor to promote, foster and advance community fellowship and interaction; to create and establish programs to further such principle and ideals, to foster a spirit of friendship and benevolence among all people and generally to advance and promote, in word and deed, the spiritual and material welfare of individuals in jail, nursing homes and hospitals through the work of the ministry.

International Chaplains of America Inc also supports law enforcement agencies including New York City Police Department and other first responders agencies throughout our great nation in case of a natural disaster or man-made disasters, presenting spiritual and corporal help throughout the community. We also offer volunteer help in other government related organizations that require the service of a chaplain. The members of this nonprofit organization are trained to meet any corporal and spiritual emergencies that occurs local or abroad. They are carefully elected for these functions.

Who We Are

International Chaplains of America, Inc was born in the heart of God and founded on the idea of helping those in need. Since our organization was established, we have endeavored to provide help where a Chaplain is needed. Our Chaplains are people with great love for the lives without caring about race, believes, color or origin of people. They serve as volunteers in the communities and as spiritual guides.

This organization is properly registered under section 402 of the Not-For- Profit Corporation law of the state of New York also we are 501 (c)(3) non - profit organization. It is also registered in the state of New Jersey as a Domestic Non-Profit corporation and was assigned identification number #0400340940.

International Chaplains of America Inc, is an authorized provider for the American Red Cross. We provide training certifications in the following fields: First Aid, CPR and AED. Whichever organization that would like training certification in those fields such as churches, non-profit organizations, private organizations, schools, etc. Contact our organizations number and/or email to apply.

Orientations are for all people who are interested in becoming a Chaplain of this organization. We will provide more information about our Chaplaincy as well as requirements necessary to enter as a member of this organization.


What is a Chaplain?



A Chaplain is a spiritual representative attached to a secular institution. Chaplains come from a variety of religions, professions and ministries. They can be lay people-men and women who answered the call to provide care and compassion in their communities or organizations. They can be ordained clergy, counselors, teachers, social workers or psychologists. Chaplains can also be full-time professional ministers committed to spiritual care through an institution. They are expected to serve the spiritual and emotional needs of others. 


Chaplains work in different areas most commonly in the 

  • Military

  • Hospitals

  • With law enforcement and other first responders agencies

  • Within political bodies

  • Sports Teams

  • Educational Institutions

  • And many other areas of the community
